Algerian Diplomat: UAE Has Built a Military and Logistical Network Stretching from the Red Sea to Tigray

Algeria Gate: Algerian diplomat Amar Belani has stated that the resumption of fighting in Ethiopia’s Tigray region is bringing the United Arab Emirates back to the center of the Ethiopian scene, given its close partnership with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s government since 2018.

Belani noted that Emirati-Ethiopian cooperation spans economic, security, and military domains. He recalled investment agreements announced by Abu Dhabi in 2023 worth nearly $6 billion. During Ethiopia’s civil war between 2020 and 2022, the UAE provided military and logistical support to Addis Ababa, particularly through drones.

Turning to Sudan, Belani cited reports of a secret camp established in Ethiopia’s Benishangul-Gumuz region to train around 5,000 Rapid Support Forces fighters, with Emirati funding and logistical backing. He also pointed to the upgrading of Assosa airport’s military and logistical capacity and reports of military equipment being transferred to the RSF through Ethiopian territory, with Somaliland and the port of Berbera serving as transit points.

According to Belani, Ethiopia has become a key anchor in the UAE’s regional strategy because of its geographic position and the web of interests linking it to Somaliland, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Aden. He argued that the renewed fighting in Tigray is unfolding amid rising regional tensions, including deteriorating Ethiopian-Eritrean relations over sea access and the ongoing war in Sudan.

Belani concluded that the UAE’s presence extends beyond Ethiopia to Sudan, Somaliland, and the Red Sea, enabling Abu Dhabi to influence trade routes and military balances. Ethiopia, he said, has turned into a major arena of regional competition as Egypt, Eritrea, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan seek to contain Emirati influence.

Secret meeting around Netanyahu: Israeli media mention the participation of several Arab states

Secret meeting around Netanyahu: Israeli media mention the participation of several Arab states

Algeria Gate: Information relayed by Israeli media indicates a meeting organized in Abu Dhabi around Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed (MBZ), with the presumed participation of representatives from several Arab countries.

According to these publications, the discussions reportedly focused in particular on Iran, the Houthis, regional security cooperation, and air defense technologies. Certain details concerning the participants have not, however, been officially confirmed by all the states mentioned.

According to Amar Belani, the Israeli press reveals that the UAE, Morocco, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia participated in a meeting with Netanyahu to discuss Iran, the Houthis, and air defense. While Gaza continues to pay the price of the war, these Arab capitals are settling into a security architecture with Israel. This is no longer mere normalization; it is a strategic alignment for which the Arab peoples have the right to demand accountability.

In this regard, according to information distilled by Israeli media, Netanyahu and MBZ brought together in Abu Dhabi an expanded regional delegation. Representatives from Libya (Saddam Haftar), Qatar, Bahrain, and another Gulf state without diplomatic relations with Israel participated.

Furthermore, apart from the Haftar camp, which is closely supervised by MBZ, these states are seeking in particular access to Israeli anti-missile defense technologies. Abu Dhabi thus appears as the auxiliary of this regional security platform dominated by Israel.

In sum, this information testifies to a regional security rapprochement around Israel, in a particularly sensitive context marked by the war in Gaza and tensions with Iran and the Houthis; a dynamic that now raises questions about the evolution of alliances and strategic balances in the Middle East.

Algeria Gate Exposes Secret Netanyahu–Saddam Haftar Meeting in Abu Dhabi, Confirmed by Il Foglio.. Morocco Mentioned

Algeria Gate Exposes Secret Netanyahu–Saddam Haftar Meeting in Abu Dhabi, Confirmed by Il Foglio.. Morocco Mentioned

Algeria Gate: New information published on September 29th, 2026, by Algeria Gate and confirmed by the Italian daily Il Foglio reports a discreet meeting in Abu Dhabi between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Saddam Haftar, son of Khalifa Haftar and number two of the Libyan eastern forces.

According to Algeria Gate, several official flights from countries in the region converged on Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi at the time of Netanyahu’s visit. Among them was an Airbus A319 registered P4-KH5I9, an aircraft presented as being usually used by Saddam Haftar. The plane is said to have landed at 12:40 p.m., about twenty minutes after Netanyahu’s arrival.

Saddam Haftar seeking political support

Il Foglio cites in particular Mohamed Buisier, a former political adviser to Khalifa Haftar, who states that Saddam Haftar met Netanyahu in order to seek political support for his ambitions for the Libyan presidency. The Times of Israel also relayed the information concerning the arrival of Saddam Haftar’s aircraft shortly after that of the Israeli Prime Minister.

The Italian daily also notes the presence, in the same time slot, of flights coming notably from Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, without publicly establishing in the article consulted the identity of all the officials who were on board.

The name of Yassine Mansouri mentioned

According to the information relayed by Algeria Gate, Yassine Mansouri, Director General of the DGED (Moroccan external intelligence), is said to have participated in the meeting on the Moroccan side. This participation is not, however, confirmed by name in the Il Foglio article consulted, which limits itself to noting the arrival of a flight from Morocco. Mansouri’s presence must therefore, at this stage, be presented as information still to be confirmed by other independent sources.

This sequence occurs at a time when Saddam Haftar is multiplying international contacts concerning the political future of Libya.

Il Foglio also states that he is seeking to consolidate his relays in Washington and with other foreign partners.

The Abu Dhabi episode thus fuels questions about the regional dealings surrounding the future of Libyan power and about the role played by the United Arab Emirates in these discreet diplomatic exchanges.

The seriousness of the case increases in light of journalistic investigations that revealed the use of the “Pegasus” program by Moroccan intelligence services to target Spanish officials and personalities.
