The office of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released an AI-generated video portraying world leaders as parrots blaming Israel without acting.
Algeria Gate: Amid sharp divisions in global diplomacy over the Gaza war, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office used advanced deepfake and AI tools for sarcastic messages targeting world leaders and the UN.
Its official account posted a fully AI-generated video of the UN General Assembly hall, replacing leaders, including Arab and international figures, with parrots in formal attire. The scenes show the parrots chanting in unison “Blame Israel,” mocking repeated international condemnations of Israel’s military policies and humanitarian violations in Gaza. A provocative caption read: “Directly from inside the United Nations: This year’s parrots… Discover more about the lies,” timed with leaders’ speeches from the same podium.
This move aims to undermine the UN’s symbolic and moral authority by turning diplomatic criticism into domestic and social-media propaganda, while converting AI into an offensive tool for diplomatic battles that damage the credibility of adversaries and allies. Observers see it as proof of Israel’s growing isolation and failure to justify its policies; government supporters call it a bold challenge to international double standards. The use of AI satirical videos fuels debate on diplomacy’s future, as dialogue yields to stereotype wars and borderless digital content, signaling further strain in Israel’s ties with the international community.
