Algeria News Portal: A missile reportedly launched from Iran struck the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone in the UAE, causing a massive fire, according to several media outlets.The UAE Ministry of Defense said in a statement that it had intercepted four Iranian missiles, one of which fell into the sea.

The media office of the Fujairah government in the UAE also reported a fire in the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone following a drone attack from Iran.

Algeria News Portal: In their first contact since the start of the military escalation in the Middle East and the Gulf region, Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the call, the source added, the Iranian Foreign Minister reviewed the latest developments regarding efforts and initiatives aimed at resuming diplomatic negotiations, with the goal of putting a definitive end to the military escalation in the Gulf region.

For his part, the Minister of State reaffirmed Algeria’s firm conviction that every possible effort must be made to find a diplomatic solution to this conflict, which has harmed the entire region.According to the statement, he also expressed his hope that the existing ceasefire would be consolidated and strengthened as a prelude to laying the foundations for a political process that would ensure the necessary conditions for achieving a lasting and sustainable peace throughout the region.

Ghraib conveyed President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s gratitude for the quick intervention, medical care, and smooth evacuation of the injured after the bus veered off the road on May 1 in Majaz al-Bab, Tunisia.

He also conveyed President Tebboune’s thanks to President Kais Saied, highlighting the strong fraternal ties between the two countries.The Tunisian Prime Minister reaffirmed Tunisia’s commitment to solidarity and cooperation with Algeria.
