Algeria Gate: Algeria and 11 other countries strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Abu al-Duhur military airbase in northwestern Syria.
A joint statement by the foreign ministers of Algeria, Turkey, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritania, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Somalia strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes targeting the Abu al-Duhur military airbase in northwestern Syria, stating that these attacks constitute an extremely dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political unity of the Syrian Arab Republic.
In the same statement, the ministers expressed deep concern over the continued targeting of Syrian territory and infrastructure and the resulting destruction and weakening effect, warning that these actions directly threaten Syria’s ongoing efforts to restore security, rebuild state institutions, and address the humanitarian consequences of years of prolonged conflict.

The ministers affirmed that the continued violation by the Israeli entity of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity threatens to further escalate tensions, undermine regional peace and stability, and weaken respect for international law and the principles of the UN Charter.
The ministers called on the international community to take a firm, clear, and principled stance against the continued aggression on Syria, and to take concrete steps, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter, to put an end to these violations and ensure full respect for the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, as well as the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the areas they have occupied; thereby preventing further escalation and protecting peace and stability in the region.
The ministers also stressed the urgent need to respect Syria’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and political unity, affirming their rejection of any attempt to undermine or erode them.
